Profile of Khairunnisa Nakathorige
Khairunnisa Nakathorige teaches at the Department of English, Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad. She works in the areas of literature, gender and sexuality. Her research interests include Folk literature, Contemporary Indian drama and Postcolonial literature. In her doctoral thesis she explored the representation of incest in Indian narratives through a study of three contemporary plays and folktales. She is currently co-editing a book on Feminism and English Literary Studies to be published by Routledge, India.
