MANUU awards PhD to Sara Batool

Hyderabad:

Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) has declared Ms. Sara Batool, D/o Mr. Mohd Ali qualified in Doctor of Philosophy in Urdu. She has worked on the topic “Riyasat Jammu-o-Kashmir Mein Ghair Afsanwi Adab Ka Tanqeedi Tajzia” under the supervision of Dr. Bi Bi Raza Khatoon, Associate Professor, Department of Urdu. The Viva-Voce was conducted on 11-01-2023.

 

 

Faculty Induction Programme Concludes at MANUU

Hyderabad:

UGC-Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC), Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) has conducted a month long Faculty Induction Programme (FIP) which concluded today.  It had commenced on 3rd January 2023.

Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice-Chancellor, MANUU while addressing said that this training will help the teachers to develop expertise in teaching and research and help them in their career advancement as well.

‘We hope that the teachers now have a clear understanding of  planning curriculum and pedagogical strategies, generating new knowledge for an equitable society, maintenance academic integrity and integrate sustainability in teaching and personal life’, said Prof. Saneem Fatima, Director, UGC-HRDC.  

Forty-nine resource persons and other invited guests delivered a total of 156 hours of lectures and conducted training through 98 sessions. Resource persons from various Universities, institutes were invited for programme.

Thirty-nine participants from states like Bihar, Telangana, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, and the union territory of Jammu & Kashmir had enrolled in the FIP. They are from diverse disciplines such as Chemistry, Home Economics, History, Urdu, Physical Education, Engineering, Sociology, Physical Science (Education), Hindi, English, Library Science, Commerce, Zoology, Computer Science,  Telugu, Political Science, Microbiology, Hindustani Music and Geology.

The sessions covered the issues related to higher education and its ecosystem, curriculum design, outcome-based learning & choice-based credit system, teaching, learning and assessment, technology for teaching and assessment etc.
