Admissions are available for MA & PhD in Public Administration in the Department of Public Administration at Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU). The last date for submission of online application in Ph.D. is May 30, 2024 and for MA Public Administration the last date is June 30.
According to Dr. Syed Najiullah, Head, Dept. of Public Administration, any graduate with 40% marks is eligible for admission in two year regular course MA Public Administration. The age limit for admission is 35 years. PhD program is 3 to 6 years of duration and post graduates with minimum 55 marks in Public Administration and Political Science are eligible, they will be admitted based upon their rank secured in Entrance Exam. Candidates are required to prove that they studied Urdu as language or through Urdu medium.
The Department has highly experienced faculty and standard study material in Urdu is available in all subjects of Public Administration. Many passout students have succeeded in NET/SLET exam and are getting ICSSR-MANF JRF fellowship. Pass outs of the department are serving in universities, degree colleges and other government, private and non-government offices at higher positions.
Merit-based scholarships of Central and State Governments are available for students of MA programme. Medical Services, Standard Library, Hostel & Sports facilities are also available in the campus.
